Idea: BuddyPress For Single Users
I am using BuddyPress on The Emu Café Social, primarity to make an Activity Stream section. I expect to have a few more posters at some point. I have long thought there should be a lightweight activity stream solution for WordPress, something purpose-built to add that functionality to an existing site and mostly ready-to-go out of the box. While BuddyPress does work, it has a significant number of extra unneded features for a single-user site (or even a site with just a couple of posters). I will think of what the ideal single-user BuddyPress Activity Stream solution would include and exclude from BuddyPress proper.
